The task was to write a narrative essay focused on how we obtained literacy as well as any hardships/struggles that came along with that. The revision process helped me focus a lot on what I wanted my purpose for this essay to be, it made me think of why I am writing this and what I am trying to achieve by writing this. With this, automatically I began thinking about the other rhetorical elements and how they are being utilized in this essay.
