In this project the goal was to mix genres of text into one essay, making sure it flows despite the mixing. In my essay, the genres being used are expository and narrative essays, in which I speak about learning disabilities in the school system and how I think it is handled wrongly from personal experience. Throughout the project, I kept running into small bumps on making sure I was balancing the two genres evenly, as well as telling the story properly and keeping it informative at the same time. Through peer review, I was able to get help with some formatting issues that were going on, as well as getting tips on what to add in order to make sure my paper does not fall harder into one genre than the other.
